On the Inventory page, Silo shows a list of all your Products, with their statuses and other relevant information. If you want to find a Product, this is the place to start. To add Products, view the Adding Products page for more details.
The Inventory list allows you to carry out actions on multiple Products at once, to save time and organize your inventory. To carry out bulk actions, select each Product you want to modify, then click one of the following buttons:
- Print Labels - to re-print labels for each of the Products
- Add to Draft Order - to add these items to a Draft Order
- Change Category - to update all these items to a new Category
- Untrack - to stop tracking these items
- Track - to resume tracking these items
Filtering the List
The Inventory list can be filtered to help you find what you need more easily. To filter the list, click into the input field to the right of the "Inventory" title.
You can type a search query here, or you can use the dropdown arrow to select common filter criteria.
Filtering by Product Status
This field allows you to filter by the stock status of this Product. To filter, start typing in the status field, or just click into it and select the statuses you want to see. This will hide any Inventory not included in these statuses.
Product Statuses include: OK, Overstocked, Re-Order Now, and Stock Crisis
To find out more about what these statuses mean, view Product Statuses.
Filtering by Order Status
This field allows you to filter by Products included in Orders. It is useful for seeing what items you are waiting to receive, for example — whatever the Vendor.
To filter, start typing in the status field, or just click into it and select the statuses you want to see. This will hide any Product not included in an Order with these statuses.
Filtering by Category
To show only Products from a particular Category, use this filter. Start typing, or use the dropdown to select Categories you want to see. You can select one or multiple categories.
To reset filters and show all Products, click the "Clear Filters" link
Filters and searches are maintained, so the next time you return to the page, the same list of Products will be shown. You can see which filters are active - a summary will be shown in this field.
Pro Tip: If you have a filter you use often, save a bookmark to the page link — you will be sent directly to that filtered list of Products.
